It began only as a dream. Others had called it an “unthinkable” strand of imagination woven in the mind of Bro. Eddie Villanueva. But burdened by perishing souls and consumed with great desire to reach them, the Spiritual Director of Jesus Is Lord Church has started pronouncing God’s vision to evangelize the entire Filipino race.
Capturing that “absurd” idea, some people think, the JIL people had visualized in 1985 the acquisition of a radio station in the AM Band, with much fervent prayers.
A decade after, the birth of this God-given vision had come to pass. In August 1995, at the heart of CALABARZON – in Calamba, Laguna – DZJV 1458 was born!

“DZ” is the prefix code used for radio stations in Luzon according to the rules of Philippine Broadcasting.
At first, the station was supposed to be named “DZOE” because “Zoe” is a Greek term, which means “God’s kind of Life”.
Lifted from John 10:10, as Jesus said, “He came to give life and have it more abundantly,” the name ZOE was excellent one. Thus, the media ministry of the Jesus Is Lord Church was named as ZOE BROADCASTING NETWORK, INC.
Nevertheless, an equally superb name was given to the station. It is now lovingly called DZJV – the station that proclaims Jesus’ Victory.

DZJV, as it proclaims, “Ang Himpilang Kabalikat ng Diyos para sa Bayan” is a commercial station. DZJV is considered as God’s ministry – His instrument in spreading the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to the whole of CALABARZON and nearby areas. As our philosophy maintains, the programs of DZJV are holistic , objective, and are designed to enter to a wide spectrum of audiences coming from all walks of life - - both man and woman, young and old, single and married, rich and poor.

DZJV is indeed God’s partner in bringing the Philippines and the Filipino family to the Lord Jesus Christ through its family-oriented and Bible-based programs, Moreover, DZJV is just one of the few commercial stations that give way to the development al programs and, at the same time, promote and support the projects and visions of the God-mandated government for a better Philippines. Above all else, quality, sensible and effective programming that uplifts the faith, values and morals of the people is our major concern.

From its location at #140 Brgy.Parian, Calamba City, Laguna, DZJV’s 10,000 watt-transmitter can signal without interference to the whole areas of Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon as its primary service areas.
Its secondary service areas are Metro Manila, Bulacan, Pampanga, some parts of Mindoro, Marinduque, Palawan, Bicol and Bataan.
