"Bagong Taon, Bagong Pag-Asa"

According to Social Weather Station (SWS), 9 out of 10 Filipino adults welcomed 2008 with hope rather than fear.  Three of the Public servants who gave inspiration to Filipinos declared that there is really hope in 2008. Gov. Grace Padaca of Isabela said that 2008 will be an even better year for all of us. As long as you’re doing the right thing, success will follow. Mayor Edward Hagedorn of Puerto Princesa focused on the traits that each Filipino must possess. According to him, discipline must be regarded and observed and the youth must be molded to be a responsible, patriotic and God-fearing citizen. He also added that people must learn to choose the right leader. Hope and Prayer were emphasized by Gov. “Among Ed” Panlilio of Pampanga. He said that prayer strengthens what you hoped for.
