I. PRE ENCOUNTER
Goal: To lead the new believer through basic steps of the Christian faith.  The goal is to assure him of his salvation, explain the benefits of the Cross and the power of God to deliver and prepare the new believer for the Encounter.





II. ENCOUNTER
             Encounter with Jesus is the most beautiful experience any human being can ever have. When God created human beings, He purposely left an empty place in every human heart so that every man would seek for Him for his happiness to be complete. Thus, such emptiness can only be filled through the Lord Jesus Christ. Hence, the Encounter is the first experience of coming face to face with God and His Word. It also confronts you and your past – and totally uproots its negative influences from your life. As a result, you will be better able to reflect on your daily life, and, by faith, have a better future.

The goals of the Encounter are for the believers to:

1. Be sure of his / her salvation
2. Experience genuine repentance
3. Break chains that bind him / her to the past.
4. Receive emotional (inner) healing
5. Receive and experience the fullness of the Holy Spirit
6. Have clarity of the vision

The School of Leaders

          For those who have completed the Pre-encounter, Encounter and Post-Encounter, the School of Leaders is, simply put, a program of simple teachings oriented in practical things.  It is a program that motivates students to learn in a classroom setup and allows them to experience practical truths through cell groups.

IV. SCHOOL OF LEADERS 1 (SOL 1)

Foundations in Christ
          Teaches the foundations of the Christian faith beginning with such fundamental subjects as: salvation, prayer and the Bible and going on to more practical subjects such as courtship, family, growing as men and women in Christ and the abundant life in Christ.

V. SCHOOL OF LEADERS II (SOL 2)

Cell Group Leadership – Prepares and trains all the students for cell leadership, intercessory prayer, evangelism and service in the kingdom of God. The second term ends with a Re – ­Encounter commissioning weekend where the leader begins their own cell group prior to enrolling in the third and final term.

VII. SCHOOL OF LEADERS 3 (SOL 3)

Leadership through the Principle of JIL 12
The third level focuses on teachings for the development of leadership and the mentoring of groups of 12 – as well as other practical issues such as the consolidation of new believers, counseling, and the Holy Spirit.

Importance of Net Involvement

1. A man cannot model to a woman how to be a godly wife.
2. A woman cannot demonstrate to a man how to be a Bible pattern husband.
3. A young man cannot model to a young woman how to be a godly woman.
4. A young woman cannot model to a young man how to be a godly young man.
5. Single people cannot demonstrate to couples how to be Bible pattern couples.

1. In the vision, Men’s, Women’s, Youth’s and Couples’ Nets help multiply our efforts in soul winning and disciple making.
2. The Net meetings are a very powerful means of winning people to Christ.

1. To strengthen and enhance the concept of homogenous networks within the JIL Church.
2. To gather and encourage the congregation to be part of the net group where they will be able to learn, grow through a spiritual and emotional support system that the NETS will provide.
3. To introduce the “NETS” as another level of ministry. Just as fish are brought into a net, believers are also gathered and encouraged to win the lost via the "nets".
4. The vision is often presented as running the cells along the homogeneous principle.
