             The Jesus Is Lord Church Nasipit was born in August 1985 thru Ptr. Silver Caballles   who opened a Bible Study with Aguilar Family.  The Bible Study grew in attendance reaching families within two months with the support of other leaders from JIL Butuan.  October 1985 was the First Sunday Service, held at NALCO Roof Top with an average of fifteen solid members.

             Healing Crusades were held from one place to another which resulted to a great harvest of souls and made JIL Nasipit well-known.  But   in  1998, the  church experienced shakening  to  the  point  that   the  leadership decided  to  close  JIL Nasipit. Pastors   were   sent   from Butuan to help revive the church and one of them is Ptr. Junnie Aguilar who continued the bible study and followed-up the members.  Indeed, their labor did not go in vain and in 1991, JIL Nasipit was established.   Sunday Service was restored with an increased number of attendance.  A Jericho March was conducted and the deliverance ministry became strong.

             In 1998, a church building was constructed occupying a rented lot and many Pastors contributed their efforts for the benefit of the church.    JIL Nasipit celebrated   its   21st   Anniversary   last   September 3, 2006 carrying an evangelistic team that gathered almost four hundred people. Many responded to the call of accepting Jesus as their Lord and Savior, including the Mayor of Nasipit and other government officials.

             In spite of the trials, persecutions, and sufferings, the church stands strong to this day.  At present, JIL 12 has been established with nine (9) Life Group Networks with an average attendance of fifty (50) members. There are two (2) Sunday Services one of which is the JIL Carmen outreach.
