      The Jesus Is Lord Church Pangasinan Chapter humbly began its evangelization through a Bible study in the family of Bro. Jun B. Ceralde of Dagupan City on May 22, 1984. Like the Mother Church, the local chapter endeavors to bring all peoples to the Kingdom of the Living God regardless of race, color, nationality, and religious affiliation through the saving, healing and delivering knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ for spiritual renewal to eternal salvation. It was pioneered by Pastor Eliseo “Jun” Balquin who, during that time was the guitarist and song leader. This ministry was patiently moved by faith believing and trusting in the Lord alone, obedience to His Word and Praying without ceasing.

      As many souls responded to the call of salvation, a number of workers made the right decision to serve the Lord. Cell groups, prayer meetings, and discipleship teachings were added to the basic Bible study. Leaflets distribution, home visitations, outdoors and other activities were means for church growth. Overnight prayer meeting was held once a month by the seashore and eventually was moved at a school gym. The first Sunday service was held under a coconut grove.

      But then, the Church went through tough trials and testing, and yet its strong foundation paved the way to open community outreaches within Dagupan area. One at a time, the good news swept its expansion to the schools and universities, towns, municipalities and cities. Until such time, Pangasinan was segregated into three areas by the JIL Church.

      For the past 2 decades, God faithfully provided for this Church. Prosperity was experienced by every JIL people who hears and acts the Law of Giving. God continually blessed His people as they carry the blessing entrusted to them accordingly. Not sooner and not later but in God’s time, the JIL Worship Center property located at Amado st. will be projected in a 3000 sq. m. lot area.

      JIL Dagupan now has 3 Worship Services at West Central School Gym which is being rented every Sunday. They also have 13 active cell groups. The faithfulness of the congregation in its commitment to the Lord were instrumental for its growth and expansion in few years time not to mention their hospitality and talent in music and arts.
