          Baliuag is a town situated at the center of the province of Bulacan. It was prominent for its buntal hat making in the olden days. Today, Baliuag has become a business center and home to one of the largest bus transport company in central Luzon – the Baliuag Transit.

          In the year 1987 JIL Baliuag Chapter was born at the basement of an old hispanic house which used to be the municipal building, situated at the town proper. The place was dark, messy, with poor ventilation, and emits foul smell.  Nevertheless, JIL workers labored to make it clean and ready for the Sunday Praise and Worship service, Divided Bible Seminars and Prayer meetings.  The pastor then was Pastor Danny Antonio.

          After some time, Pastor Toto C. Tabora spearheaded JIL Baliuag Church. They later transferred and leased a vacant lot in Barangay San Jose, where a makeshift church building was built.  People within the vicinity disposed off their garbage and waste as a sign of their protest and persecution. In spite of this, the JIL leadership and workers persevered and continued to work for the advancement of God’s kingdom.

          Time came when the rent increased. It made the leadership to decide that owning a place would be the best alternative. The entire congregation committed and began raising funds through pledges, offerings, seminars and prayers. Finally, they were able to purchase a lot at Sta. Barbara wherein they immediately relocated.

        JIL Baliuag Church did not stop in aspiring for a better worship house. Men and women saw visions of a big worship house which was filled with the glory of the Lord. This time, the congregation became more inspired and committed to giving and fulfilling their vow to support the building of the church both financially and physically which has become part of their daily lives.
  
        Through their combined efforts, the JIL Baliuag House of Worship was completed and was dedicated by Bro. Eddie and Sis Dory Villanueva last Dec. 16, 2000. Presently, there are two (2) Sunday Services (morning and evening services), and one (1) outreach. To God all the highest praises!
